The Secondary section of the school constitutes classes V to X. Students already endowed with the basic sense of discipline and knowledge in the primary classes now reach a vantage point where the teacher-student relationship goes beyond just ‘chalk and talk’. This stage is characterized by the full blossoming of the individual self with attainment of maturity through multi-faceted experiences. It is in this stage that the function of the teachers changes and they play the role of the ‘friend-philosopher-guide’ in the proper sense of the term. While assuming such a role, the teachers of the secondary section ensure all-round development of the individual student , developing and enhancing their aptitudes, talents and passions in every possible way mainly through extra-curricular activities. Debates, elocution, quiz contest, and other such creative activities are thoroughly encouraged in the secondary classes in addition to academic excellence.
Professionally qualified teachers, specialists in their chosen subjects provide the best classroom teaching possible and are always at hand to supervise and review the work on an individual basis, thereby ensuring the best out of the pupils. Students are provided with a balanced programme of class-room teaching in association with tests, written assignment, mock examinations and remedial classes for their preparation of the Secondary Board Examinations or Madhyamik Pariksha under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

Message of Principal
Years glided by at the wink of an eye. The journey has nurtured and nourished us. Students have manifested their talents through different ways like through magazines, co-curricular activities, sports which is like an oasis for both the teachers and students in the desert of syllabus.
I feel immense pleasure when I see the literary excellence and creativity of this budding stars and this is an inspiration for me to provide them with better guidance. Thus our strength lies in our ability to help the child with the sense of responsibility, independence and self-disciplined.
